Hello,

My name is Hyder Husain Arastu, I am a doctoral student in Philosophy at the University of South Florida. My interest in philosophy derives from a yearning for the truth, birthed originally through a search for justice. The ‘truth’ of justice being – to me – among the greatest of truths, second only to that of being.

Beyond philosopher, I identify my ‘self’ as painter and photographer- both stemming from my views on the aesthetic. Images, being the first ‘creations’, I take to be our first truths, for as Vico puts it ‘Verum Ipsum Factum’, consequently beyond seeking the truth, I make my own.
